As a therapeutically active person, I see myself integrated in my holistic thinking in the view that all living things in morality are given moral consideration. This includes any living thing such as humans, animals and plants.
This policy does not claim to be comprehensive and to cover all behaviors. It serves as a guide and should encourage a rethinking of one's own attitude. Therapists are among the "non-notifiable occupations in health care" and are thus subject to the special criteria and requirements. It follows that I am not primarily guided by employment prospects in my professional practice, but feel particularly committed to my professional ethos. |
IIn our increasingly complex society, people increasingly need competent support. I see this as my therapeutic task and I am aware that I have a special responsibility and also to prove myself to be trustworthy.
Self-control
Patients and clients expect personal attention based on the latest knowledge. My high ethical standards and strict self-control guarantee this quality.
Personal responsibility
My stated goal is to provide patients with safe and ethical standards. Here I use age, handed down as well as new medical treatment. I am based on a long tradition. My therapeutic task is to protect the mental and physical health of people entrusted to me by helping them with prevention and so alleviate suffering. Here alone the health of my patients is in the foreground.
As a therapist, I explain to the patient my actions, including any expected effects and, in particular, possible side effects and risks. For therapeutically required physical touch, I seek the approval of the patient. The education also includes the course of treatment, duration, frequency and estimated costs. Each treatment is done respecting human dignity and respecting the personality, free will and rights of the patient.
I strictly disclaim any use of trust, ignorance, credulity or helplessness of patients and refrain from any use of professional relationships for the purpose of financial, personal or professional advantage.
I am aware of my great responsibility for my patients and only practice the diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for which I have the necessary and individual knowledge and skills in individual cases. I constantly check my knowledge and skills and continue to train myself.
As a therapist I subject myself, as far as legal regulations do not oppose and the patient does not release me expressly from this, an absolute secrecy.
When calculating my fee, I focus on my personal service provision, the time required and the total cost of ownership, as well as the economic situation of the patient.
